Group Blog

The question is whether I will be working independently or in a group. For the most part I would say I am working in a group. I would not mind working with other peers or myself honestly. I say this because I work just fine whether it is by myself or with other people. There can be advantages as well as disadvantages to working independently or amongst yourself. Working independently can help you set your own pace and not have any conflicts with others. Whereas working in a group can help you get a better understanding of the assignment given and can get the job done quicker. In my opinion though I believe working in a group in this class is the best way to do it because the work seems like having other people would be helpful. But on the other hand, when you work by yourself you will not come across issues like which person didn't do their part of their assignment, etc. But like I said whether it is working with 1-4 people or by myself, it does not really matter. But I say for the time being I am working in a group because at the moment that is what I prefer. It is essential that classmates get along so the atmosphere wont be tense all the time. When you get along with classmates you guys get a better understanding of each other and where the mindsets stand. I might have an effect this because I am not really open to people I do not know but once I get to know them I come around. You also have to be cautious as to who you are working with. For instance, you could be partnering with your best friend in this class. But if you guys come across some type of conflict that will just ruin a whole entire project. This is where working independently comes in handy because you would not have to deal with any of that. To finish off, I am working with my groupmate, Saniyah.
